BORRETT, Arnold Harvey

Previous service 13th Field Engineers. Plane was a Stirling BF378 on an operation to Wilhelmshafen when it was shot down by a night fighter and crashed at Waddenzee. Three Stirling aircraft were shot down in this operation. Sgt Borrett's brother F/Sgt Frederick Britain Borrett RAAF was also killed in an aircraft accident in Nigeria. He was 27 years old.
