BUTLER, Joseph Gipson

Plane was a Hudson A16-197 which crashed near Millimgimbie, near Darwin Australia. An explosion was heard soon after take off and the plane crashed into trees. It is believed there was a mid-air collision of two Lockheed Hudson's A16-197 and A16-183. Ten crew were killed from the two planes.
