FISHER, Geoffrey Walter

Plane was a twin engine Bristol Beaufort torpedo bomber of the No.39 Sqd. RAF. The squadron was part of RAF Command Middle East and conducted anti-shipping operations throughout the Mediterranean. Sgt Fisher was a wireless air gunner of a Beaufort aircraft which disappeared in the vacinity of Koufonisi near Crete. Fisher and his three RAF crewmates were killed.
