BALLEINE, Bernard George Payn Lovelock

Aircraft Wellington Z1388 which crashed near Dreux, France on air ops. to Gennevilliers. Four of the five crew were lost, the survivor becoming a POW. Sgt Balliene's brother Able Seaman Frederick Balleine was also killed on HMAS Parramatta which was sunk by U-559 off Tobruk, Libya.
