HENNESSY, Kevin William

Plane was a Halifax LL459 which was to undertake a night cross country exercise after taking off from Sandtoft airfield. On approaching to land the Halifax dived out of control and hit the ground north of the village of Hook. It is thought the aircraft had stalled killing the crew of six.
