PHILLIPS, Everard John

Previous service W/Comm. A.A.S.C/ Patrol Coy. Plane was a Lancaster ED328 of the 101 Sqn shot down in a forest near Berlin. The crew were buried with full military honours by the Luftwaffe. The wreckage of the plane was found 70 years later. Three British and four Australians were killed. Please note there were two RAAF crew named Phillips- John Henry age19 and Everard John 415273 age 23, both killed on ED328.
