COSGROVE, John Percival

Plane was a Wellington Z1290 of the 460 Sqn RAAF which took off from RAF Breighton to attack Kiel, Germany. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take-off. It was later established the aircraft crashed near Neumunster being shot down by a German fighter. All six crew were lost.
