CULHANE, Maurice Michael

Plane was a Beaufort A9-426 which took off from No.1 OTU East Sale on a training flight from East Sale to Paynesville, Western Junction and back. The plane disappeared near Orbost and although sightings were reported by locals the plane and crew were never found. It is believed that the aircraft had gone into the sea and all four crew were lost.
