Plane was a Blenheim Z6044 which took off from landing Ground LG 116 near Fuka Egypt to participate in night landing practices. Whilst in training there was an air raid warning and airborne aircraft were ordered to circle and close in. The plane failed to return to base and may have been shot down over the sea. The crew of three were lost.
