ADDINSALL, Geoffrey William

Plane was a Lancaster Mark 111 DV model. F/Sgt Addinsall was a middle Gunner flying with No. 12 Sqd RAF and was the only Australian member of the crew when they were shot down over Germany. Sister Elizabeth and brother Ray also served in the RAAF during WW2. The family had extensive saw-milling a wood merchant businesses both in Rutherglen and Warrnambool.
